Create a new text document in folder

    Service Pack 2
    Single user

    Can only insert a new text document
    from the Desktop ...in other folders only
    have 2 options
    New file and New Folder

    Any help or advice appreciated

    Select New File. Add a TXT (*.txt) extension when you rename the file. ?

    And where might these "other" folders be? Do you have permissions to do
    these actions?
