    Hi,

First and foremost this is the info of my computer:

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit
    Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 930 @ 2.80GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 26 Stepping 5
    Processor Count: 8
    RAM: 8182 Mb
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series, 1024 Mb
    Hard Drives: C: 919 GB (604 GB Free);
    Motherboard: Dell Inc., 05DN3X
Antivirus: Windows Defender, Enabled and Updated

My computer has been running slow, I keep getting Java Updates pop-ups but unable to update them. The computer keeps crashing and this blue screen comes up saying "windows is collecting your info and will restart afterwards". Additionally, when I start up the computer it takes a very long time to load. I have not taken action prior to posting this inquiry in terms of fixing this issue. Please advise.

    Thank you in advance!

Hi and welcome to Computer Help Forums.
It is usually problems with your computer’s hardware or issues with a hardware driver. Standard software doesn’t usually cause blue screens or system failure.
You could try a system restore firstly.

Are you able to get the error coding at the bottom of the Blue Screen?

If you don’t have time to note the code on the screen, you can still access the Windows Advanced Options Menu by pressing the F8 key during start-up. You can use the menu option to disable automatic restart (giving you time to write down the code)

Have you installed any new programs lately?
Overheating can cause it as well.

    Hi,
I did not observe any error coding at the bottom of the blue screen. I haven't installed any new programs lately either. I will try the system restore now though.

    Update:
So I tried to system restore and was unsuccessful. The following pop-up appeared:
"The network location cannot be found. Windows cannot find the backup location \\192.168.1.104\Volume_1. Make sure the network location is available and try again. Error: The network path was not found. (0x80070035).
