Cant install windows 10?

I built my own PC recently and for some reason it keeps going through a endless cycle of reboots after it installs the files. Is windows 10 unable to be installed on a computer with no OS on it before i try to install it on to the computer. Can i install windows 10 on Home Built brand new pc with nothing installed on it previously?

You can do a clean install of Windows 10, however if no OS system on it previous you won't be able to validate.
You will have to buy a product key from Microsoft.
What method are you installing Windows 10 and where did the copy come from?

 

i have the liscence key i bought it from best buy it is on a usb drive

Does the key match the version of Windows 10 you are trying to install?

What is on the HDD now and is it partitioned?

 

I'm installing it off a USB drive and the key is for windows 10 yes.

I'm sorry i'm not terribly sure what partitioned means...? i'm not terrible experienced with this stuff its the first time building my own PC sorry.

 

Hi Danie. I think you are going to struggle doing this. A lot of terms will be beyond your comprehension I feel and to explain every thing we ask you to do and also explain how to do every step will be very time consuming.
Have you a friend who could help you?
