I agree, Memtest. Have you tried using a different slot and/or different ram stick? I read through the thread and I see that you are using the

same slot and one 2 GB stick but I didn't see if anywhere you had attempted to use another slot, it's certainly worth a try.

You can download the iso file below and you will need to burn it as a bootable CD. I use BurnCDCC, it's a small standalone iso burner that

works quite well. The link for BurnCDCC is also below.

    Memtest86+ V4.00 (22/09/2009)

Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)

    BurnCDCC™

This utility is used to burn an ISO file to a CD/DVD/BD disc. Many systems come with a limited CD/DVD

software package that lacks the ability to burn ISO files.

stick one's slot has not been changed i just took it out to test stick two then put it back where it was when checking it by itself. ive downloaded memtest and the iso burner but im a bit of a noob when it comes to anything that's not in windows. when do I put in the disk to get it to boot off of it and also what should i be looking for while its running?
