LOL You people with your "market shares" regarding FREE products is
insanely laughable! There is NO accurate way to determine such market
shares period. How do you say, determine shares with the FREE Windows
Live mail? ..The FREE Windows virtual machine? ..The free MSN messenger?
The FREE anything? THEY ARE FREE! ..For ANYONE to download, Install and
install on ALL their machines, and redistribute. (Give a copy to your
friends etc) All you can do is report how many downloads you had, and
pretty much GUESS at what your share is. That's it. Get off the market
share bit, and GET REAL. The only place market shares are valid, is with
PAYING customers. Has NOTHING to do with a FREE product for general
downloading and usage. A FREE product could have millions upon millions
upon millions of installations, but you would have NO way of ACCURATELY
    determining it. <F'ing morons!>

    G'day

Nor would you know how many of those millions of downloads were
installed and used more then a few days. I've downloaded Ubuntu a few
times, and deleted it after only a few days. I'm sure I'm not the only one!

All one has to do is show proof otherwise, about free usage, and the
    trillions that are using it.

All indications are that no one is using Linux or a minuscule amount. :)
