Aryeh Schottenstein - Where is the windows 7 news group?

    Hi Aryeh Schottenstein here,

    I am SO excited about the coming of windows 7 that I cannot wait. However I
    am at loss as to where the windows 7 news group is? Any help?

    There is not a Windows 7 newsgroup, only forums.

    There are no English language Windows 7 newsgroups (just one in
    Italian). There is a Windows 7 web forum at


    Whether there will be any Microsoft Windows 7 newsgroups remains to be
    seen. Like many of us here, I hope so, but it's by no means certain.

    Based on past practice, Windows 7 newsgroups will probably not appear
    until Windows 7 becomes generally available.

    Gordon, you've repeated this multiple times. As I've said, that's just
    one Microsoft employee's opinion. I hope he's right, but he probably
    isn't.
