I wasn't sure where to post this but thinks it's OK. I have uploaded a few vids to Youyube. 2 of the uploads have Video/Audion SYNC issues where the Audio is delayed to the video portion. How does this happen? Is there a way to fix it? I know I can go to the site and browse the "Help" section, was just hoping someone had a quick answer.

Hi Sarge, Are you sure the out of sync is actually on youtube, or is there a download issue with you.
The only way is give us a link to one of those you think is out of sync so we can check to see if it is out, if we find it isn't, then it may be an issue on your computer rather than on Youtube.
It is something we need to know before we can go much further.

OK Nev, her are the 3 videos I uploaded to YouTube. You'll notice the first vid is spot on timing. The 2nd and 3rd have a slight audio delay. I have received some post's to the video of the audio issue from other viewers. I will have to post them in different posts since I get an error message stating "Sorry, but you have posted more media files than you are allowed to".

Not sure if there is a way to correct them within YouTube or if I will have to delete them and upload them again.

Hi Sarge, the second vid is out of sync a bit. Not sure if you can correct that in youtube, I will do a bit of research this afternoon.

PS: do you have an audio and vid card in your machine, such as a sound card or GPU or do you use on board audio/video?????

Yep I also see the problem, as you say the first vid is near spot on, (Lovely piece by the way) the second slightly out, and the last by at least half a second.
However, sound went altogether in the first vid at around the ten seconds before the end.

Not too sure where the problem arises though as I assume all three are in perfect sync when you play them directly from the file you have.
It may be within the uploader on Youtube itself or even just be a glitch due to you uploading them during a busy period on the net.

I also must ask, that considering these video's are comercial, do you have permission to upload them to Youtube? I know the first has been uploaded by others as I saw it last year, but the question still stands.

    Nev.

What is the file format that you are uploading, the file extension?

If they are fine on your computer, try to re-upload them.

WOW....This is why I love this site!!! Let's see if I can answer everybody.........
@Ricardo....I am using an internal (MOBO) Sigmatel Hi Def Audio codec. Using a Zotac, GeForce 9500 xt Vid Card.
@Nev.... I have permission under Copyright Disclaimer Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976. They won't upload to the site without verify.
@jaylach.... Beleive it was an .AVI file.
@Dragnet.... May have to, just stinks that I would have to delete the current vid 1st. Then go through the verify process again.

Thanks guy's...you are the best!! :)

You might try converting the AVI to MPG. If you don't have conversion software 'Any Video Converter' is quite good and the free version would do just fine for what you need.
