    Microsoft this past week provided a timeline for its switchover from Microsoft Points to local currency in its Xbox Live online services. Starting with the next Xbox 360 Dashboard update, Xbox Live subscribers will see their Microsoft Points converted to local currency, and the system will use local currency going forward. There’s also a transition plan in place for the Microsoft Points cards you can buy online and at local retailers.
