What is Windows7, I thought we were up to IE8.....is
Windows and Internet Explorer two different items?
I thought Windows Internet Explorer8 was all one item,
I really get confused when it comes to the technical stuff.
    Please explain.
What is it I use to get onto the internet? Windows or IE?
Wait...is windows7 the next version after vista...is it an operating system.
If I use MSN for my home page how do I get to the internet. I have
an existing ISP but want to change and don't know the best place to change
    too.
    thanks, all

You're mixing apples and oranges. Internet Explorer is a web browser
like Firefox. It is currently at version 8.

Windows 7 is an operating system. It's the follow-on for Vista.
