windows xp question

    i have a question about xp. the programm was loaded about 6 months ago. only 1 problem. while browsing on th internet, when i go to a search engine and perform a search, i cannot clear search bars. i can clear history, but not search bars. any help would be greatly appreciated

    Which 'search bars' do you mean? Previous form entries for the search form on like google.com, or a toolbar?

    To clear form history, go Tools->Internet Options, on the Content tab click Autocomplete. In the next dialog, click Clear Forms and Clear Passwords.

    if i go to a search engine, i.e. dogpile.com, search.com...
    the search bar records my history search titles. is this how i clear them??its just really annoying
