Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1: First Impressions

    Sometimes it's the little things
    I'll need to spend more time with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1 before I can really get a feel for this latest rendition of Microsoft's smart phone OS. But what's immediately obvious is that Update 1 is exactly what it should be: A mid-stream set of small updates that combines to make for a more refined and useful system. There's nothing truly major—Live Folders comes close—but then there doesn't need to be. This looks like a nice little update.
