Most of my other issues have resolved. Now on windows7 Dell Inspiron Window Live Mail working perfectly for long time suddenly does not like my user/password or for some reason it thinks I must verify it every few openings. I click Send&Receive and immediately for 3 times a box wanting my password typed in for incoming server. I have not changed it and even if I type it in and click remember it keeps on rejecting it. I see nothing wrong with it. Windows Live Mail uses VerizonAOL mail. I have not changed the username or password in a long long time. Now it wants it every few times I try to receive mail. I always select Remember logins and passwords. Any explanations or suggestions?

I tried the VerizonAOL web-mail. Retyped in password and it works. Retried W.L.M. VerizonAOL mail. Typed in same password. 3 failure boxes. Then box said "server has unexpectedly terminated connection-will have to type in password next time" but WLM still does not work while the webmail does. Maybe they are having problems and it is not me at all. I always think everything is my own fault.

Verizon/AOL mail servers are giving my customers and myself grief. I stopped using an email client with my two Verizon/AOL accounts. I use webmail to access those accounts at mail.aol.com.

Bottom line - you have to call AOL email support to get this fixed. They may not be able to fix it. They may just say try logging in later on.

As long as the web mail works with the very same user/PW as the WLM always did and now does not, I think I will just use the web mail instead. Much easier. If WLM doesn't work I may just remove the account altogether and use web gmail or web AOL mail instead. I am beginning to think trouble I experience is not my fault or the PCs fault but the servers and sites.Waste a lot of time fooling around trying to fix what I cannot fix in the first place. Thanks for the insight. I use the same web mail as you said and it works perfectly.

Look at the error message. It says the server is temporarily unavailable.

Yeah.....I guess I should have noticed that and maybe taken it seriously. Might work later on.
