    I've had my computer for 6 months and in the last few days it has started to have major issues ending at the point where i can't get past the windows boot manager. It is a samsung netbook n110.

    Ever option that i try come back to the same point;
    File: \windows\system32\DRIVERS\kl1.sys
    Status: 0xc00000e9
    Info: Windows failed to load because a critical system driver is missing, or corrupt.
    All of the Driver checks end after \windows\system32\Drivers\ mup.sys
    It says to insert the disc, however the computer never came with a disc..
    This happened after i did a system recovery and tried to reset it to factory settings.
    Any information and/or help would be greatly appriecated. =D thanks.

    Do you happen to have Kaspersky as your Anti-Virus?

    Because the driver it is on about (kl1.sys) is part of Kaspersky software, it may have been corrupted when you did the system recovery (though odd if it did), why did you need to do the system recovery anyway?

    I assume you tried to get to Safe Mode? (i.e. pressing F8 when you start the PC up) Or Safe Mode with networking? To uninstall Kaspersky, if you do have it, your only other options would be to get an install disc for Windows 7 and try a system repair (you could follow this, rather than me writing everything out - http://www.dummies.c...re-windows.html) and if the system repair fails you would have to reinstall Windows, so formatting the hard drive and using the Windows install disc, this would obviously delete any files you have on the PC so you might want to get a hard drive enclosure and plug your hard drive into another PC to get the files off.
