Some people love the new Windows 7 menu - others wonder why the Old Classic Menu isn't available as an option, as it was in Vista.

My opinion is that it is fine, until the All Programs column fills up. Personally, I like playing around with new programs, which fills up the column rapidly. Using multiple columns as in XP works out well for me.

I've found a number of programs that bring back that functionality. Some are free, some not.

I've tried 3 or 4 of the above and am currently using Classic Shell. It does pretty much everything you want, allows for running the Windows 7 Menu by holding down the Space key, supports skins, and is free.

    Your mileage may vary :)
