    Hi =)

    I'm having a really annoying problem on my Acer Aspire laptop.
    It randomly shuts down, sometimes after 2 minutes, sometimes it lasts an hour or two.

    I'm running windows 7.

    I have physically taken it appart, cleaned it, applied new thermalpaste, checked
    all chords and connections,. I might have overseen
    something, but the hardware seems fine. I have monitored the CPU, and the temperature is fine,
    usually around 50 degrees. I have tested the power adapter,
    and that too is working fine.

    Windows Event Wiever shows two critical events, with the ID 41 and 6008.

    Any ideas on what this could be?

    Hi and welcome to Computer Help Forums.
    There could be a number of issues causing these errors.
    Firstly disconnect everything USB related, and set all power savings to never, including hibernation
    Try these first and get back.
