    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]Hello there![/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]I got done after writing this document for three weeks...Suddenly (today), my document appears to be blank. I didn't download anything..Didn't go on any porn sites (surprisingly), or anything. In fact I didn't go on anything after I finally finished my document, which was finished yesterday.[/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]there's the link to the document ^[/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]When I highlight the document, it appears to be words there, it's just nothing shows up. It's as if all my text is white. However, the text is clearly black. The font color is still blank, so I don't understand what's going on here. [/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]It's almost as if things were looking too good in my life, so this of course had to happen to even it out.[/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]No matter, I'll never type and save anything in wordpad ever again, that's for sure.[/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]Oh, and when I tried opening this in Windows XP, it shows a string of squares, so it looks like the file is definitely (mysteriously) corrupted.[/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]Any way to fix this? If anybody fixes this, I'll pay that person 10 dollars via paypal[/background]

    [background=rgb(230, 233, 236)]Thank you very much![/background]

    Hmm I just thought.....Can't I restore my computer to a previously known date? Like say, just a few days ago?

    Yes you can but it won't affect your documents, just windows registry and Installed programs will be affected, Hang tight I'm sure one of our experts will have an answer when they come on line ;)

    I find this very strange. The document you downloaded appears to be blank but when you mouse over it and highlight there appears to be something there. This is true regardlwss of what program I used to open it. However when I copied and then pasted the blank highlight onto a blank word document I got a series of parallel lines much like lined notebook paper. There was, however, no text.

    What was I supposed to find?

    I opened the document in OpenOffice and was shown with a page full of #, which usually means it is only storing zeros and as such there isn't much that can be done to recover the file unfortunately as the #'s mean it can't be repaired, I still tried saving it in a few different formats (using Microsoft Office as well) with no luck.

    Did you happen to have a power cut or did the computer shut down suddenly while you were editing it at one point, that may have corrupted your file.
