    Hi,
    I installed SP2 on a Windows 2003 SP1 server.The installation went smooth
and it succeeded.I was able to see the entry for Service Pack 2 for
    Add/Remove programs.
But unfortunately, MyComputer properties still shows it is SP1.I'm clueless
on what could be the problem.I have tried several successful re-installs but
    no luck.

    cheers
    Babu

The only thing I can think of is to check that SP2 is for Windows 2003
server and not for one of the packages you have installed on your server.
For example SP2 for windows 2003 server not SP2 for (say) SQL Server 2003.
