Win2k8 Sessions...

    We're trying to run an application under a disconnected user session (it
    cannot
    run as a service). The user logs in, starts the application, then
    disconnects. After approximately 10 minutes, the session times out and
    automatically terminates the user's session. I've already modified the user
    properties and the group policies and set the timeouts to never, but the
    timeout still occurs. How can we accomplish this? Thanx.

    Steven,
    have you verified that sessions settings of RDP-Tcp Connection (Sessions tab
    of the Properties dialog box) are not set to this value with the "Override
    user settings" checked on?

    Steven,
    have you verified that sessions settings (Terminal Servies Configuration) of
    RDP-Tcp Connection (Sessions tab of the Properties dialog box) are not set
    to this value with the "Override user settings" checked on?

    Yes, you are correct. All the settings are as they should be to not allow the
    timeouts to kill the sessions...yet it is still happening. I just don't
    understand it. Thanx.
