where can I get a list of files that can be deleted

Using Windows 2003 Enterprise.

I want to delete Log files and other files to free up some space.

Where can I get a list of what can be deleted?

 

Can I be straight with you and no pun intended. Why are you using W2K3 when you have
no idea what you can safely delete. Just curious.

Hello North Coast Sea Foods,

This doesn't exist for none OS version. You can start with dsik cleanup to
remove files. Also if you are sure that you don't need to uninstall update
files, you can remove all $KBxxxxxx folders under windows\system32. You have
to keep $hfmig$ folder.

But just searching and deleting logfiles i wouldn't do, maybe you need some
of them still for problem discovery.
