ive been looking around for a while now. a few peoples have encountered this.

in yahoo mail, the cursor will not stop spinning. what is causing this AND how do i remedy this situation?

ive been told something is running in the background.....ok then...what? and why cant i see it in task manager.
ive been told to refresh the page until it stops.......that is not a fix.......or an explanation.

it dosent hinder performance that i can tell, it is just very annoyiong. sometimes it just stops after a refresh, and others it dosent. its the equivilant of trying to track down an electrical short in your car. that only shows itself when you hit a bump. grrrr

    i running win 7, quad core, 8 gig, 1gig gddr3 nvidia gforce gt 430, 450w.

Welcome to Computer Help Forums! :)

When you log into yahoo mail the page will also load some ads or something else that Yahoo is inserting onto the page. Often that comes from something other than yahoo. If that one element is not loading properly (it has its own url) the page will appear to be loading but will still function normally. You can probably avoid this by using some form of ad blocker. If you use firefox there is a free add on. Otherwise you will need to get some third pary software. If ads don't bother you and you are having no other problems you can just ignore it.

There may be something that yahoo is trying to add that will not be recognized by adblock. If there is an issue with their server that could cause the appearance of the page trying to fully load.
