Currently 16 degrees F and still windy. I think it will be partially sunny today and the high will be 21F. Lambs dark navy rum is good, haven't had any in a long time. ;)

3:30 AM here and 26F. Was off work Thursday and am also Friday. I kind of tend to do 'semi-all-nighters' to catch up on things when I have a couple of days off. With the temp as it is at this time I can believe the called for upper 30s for Friday. Could use it as there are a lot of areas here right now that are unsafe to drive due to black ice.

You all might get a kick out of the fact that my car 'seemed' to have developed a bad CV joint... That's the right term, right, front wheel drive, drive train, CV joint? Just drawing a partial blank. Think it is right but there is a doubt. Anyway the symptom was a constant 'throbbing' in the steering wheel, not a good thing. That throbbing is what made me think CV joint. Thankfully a local car wash fixed it for me. Melted the block of ice that had formed inside half of one of the front wheels which had thrown the balance of the wheel totally to hell. I just LOVE simple/cheap solutions.

I WILL applaud this car! It is a 2000 Dodge Neon with 176,000+ miles that I paid $650.00 last September. It runs just plain SWEET. Everything even still works including (surprisingly) the rear window defroster. Getting 30 MPG IN TOWN. I DID get a GREAT deal as it even looks decent. As an example... the other morning it was minus 8F. Went out to start the car and didn't even get in. Opened the door and reached in and turned the key, it was running. Just reached in as I had to scrape ice. Yes, it is small and ain't gonna race anyone with just a 2 liter 4-cylinder but it's big enough to hold me and I'm past my racing days. ;)

Fairly high North easterly winds, near to zero temperatures and threatening more snow for tomorrow!! Are we sure it is nearly April in the UK?

I filled the bird feeders this morning and they are only 1/3 full now. U-B's pals must have been hungry.

It was 85F today and expected to go up to 95F tomorrow. Am not moving out of my nice air-conditioned home unless there is a fire that forces me out. It is typical weather here for this time of the year.

It is 82 here in Kansas. We had a very nice rain last night. Here my Weather Watcher's prediction for the coming 7 days.
