My Sister give me an old laptop some years ago. I have never taken it out of it's bag.
    I think she said it was MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1 .
Must take another look and see exactly what it is.
One day I suspect it will be a collectors piece.

An E Machines from 2004, with Windows XP on it which was updated to SP3. However it has had a new motherboard and power supply from when the original PSU blew and took the motherboard with it.

The oldest I have is not to old...........W 7. My mantra was "if a 10 year old can do this I can". I bought my first, a windows 98 in 1996 at the cost of $2,000 and at the age of 60. After that I bought a new one every time a new OS came out to learn it. I gave the old one to family members who didn't have one. W 10 is the only one I had a learning problem with.

I have a friend who still uses much older ones. She never does windows updates and has never had a virus. She is very good and was a helper in a forum. She helps people she knows when they have a problem. One lady called her one day and was in tears. She said her son was coming over to destroy her XP computer because it was dangerous. My friend got there before he did and she flat out told him never to touch his mother's computer again. The lady was so happy to get him out of the house. She could never have learned a new one.

The oldest I have right now is an IBM Intellistation Z Pro server that I got in 2003. It's running Win 2000 server as it's OS.

Up to about a year ago I had a collection of vintage computers but I sold or gave them all away. The oldest was a Tandy TRS-80 that was built in 1977.

AMD FX 6300 system would be my oldest by virtue of the motherboard being the oldest. Still a heck of a PC though and perfectly capable of doing anything.

That FX 6300 system is gone for a while now. The oldest would be my HP laptop with an older I5 iteration.

I have a an AMIGA 500 which I bought for my son all those years ago. Doubt if is compatible with anything nowadays. Speaking of compatibility - I sent a video of a celebratory function to some friends in Florida from my Microsoft CP. They have an Apple Mac and could not open it. Any way around this?
    Thank you.
