What grade would you give Lenovo's response to the Superfish situation?

Yesterday Lenovo created quite a firestorm when it was revealed they had been installing adware/malware on brand new computers being shipped to customers.

Accorging to Lenovo it was intended to enhance a customers shopping experience but in the process of putting Superfish on the computers they also installed a certificate that allowed the program to get by secure web connections. It was subsequently learned that this opened up users to middle man attacks and broke every secure connection the user might want to make on their device.
