Brave or foolish who knows but I'll try again.

I think that their is to much pressure is put on people to be a "success in life", what's worse is that today a success is defined by material wealth. which creates a society that just won't work, we cannot all be Kings, society needs a supply of people from all levels of life, If a new factory was to open tomorrow it would need workers, employees, these are supplied from those who are living on welfare. at the same time people on welfare need someone to have the wealth to open new factories so as to offer them a chance to better themselves.

But the problems start when someone has the chance to cheat and take a supposedly short cut to being wealthy and successful,

if more emphasis was put on success being measured in honour, trust and love, the world would be a better place with less crime.

As a side bar, and a little off topic, I wanted to relate to everyone that although what Rose say's is somewhat correct in saying that it is all about greed, there are folks that have no understanding of what money is at all!! You see, I work as a resident advisor at an assisted living facility where we have residents that have Alzimers and Dimensia. These folks may ask you the same question over and over again and you have to respond as though they just asked that question for the first time. Their families tell me of how their family member "USED" to be. Many were rich and had very important positions in life. We have residents that worked for NASA and one that was even a major league baseball coach. Many ask me when the bus will be taking them home (because they do not recognize our facility as their "Home"). These fine people came from backgrounds where money was not an issue. Now, they can't even concieve what money is. Their lawyers or family pay for the care they receive and it IS expensive. It's sad when I talk to some of our residents and see pictures in their apartments of times past and try to vision what their lives were like "back then". My point is that no matter how much money you have in life, that can all change in the blink of an eye. I live paycheck to paycheck, but when I go to work, I feel like the richest man in the building. Happy Holiday's to all my CHF friends!! :)
