Watch eight minutes of the new Windows 10-powered Xbox One dashboard

Right on schedule. A test version of Microsoft's redesigned Xbox One dashboard, powered by Windows 10, is rolling out to select members of the Xbox One preview program starting today. If you happen to be among the chosen participants, hey, congratulations. If not, here's an eight-minute video of what you'll be missing narrated by Microsoft's Larry Hryb (aka Major Nelson) and Richard Irvine.

The two big components of this preview are a cleaner home page that places more emphasis on vertical placement and a quick-access guide (now aligned to the left) for friends list, notifications, settings, and other apps you can snap alongside your games.
