W2003 Server: change the licence key

    I have bought a server box with W2003 Server already installed. There is no original W2003 Server disc with the box. So I have also bought a new disc with licence for W2003 Server so I can register the new licence to me. I want to change the existing licence key without having to do a complete fresh install. Is there a way simply to change the existing key to my new one? Many thanks.

    One option to try is to insert the disk while in windows and select an upgrade install if it gives you that option. If it doesn't then the only thing you could do is to reinstall.
