VS 2008 & WPF & AllowTransparency = Crash

    I am working with WPF via Visual Studio 2008 and when i choose AllowTransparency equal to True, the application crashes shortly after it starts with the following error: "An unspecified error occurred on the render thread". If i set the property to False then the app runs fine it just doesnt look like it should. Any ideas on how i can fix this?
