Virtumonde infection and website blocking.

I just finished a great battle with the dreaded Virtumonde spyware/virus. This thing is freaking nuts. I couldn't get rid of it with any free spyware programs so I broke down, bought and installed Spyware Doctor. Well I ran Vundofix.exe and ran the Spyware Doctor scanner a few times and I can't seem to find any more traces of the virus/malware after deleting a nice amount of it. But, the spyware blocked off my access to many websites, such as google, myspace, facebook, yahoo.com, and many others. I removed the spyware from what I can see, but I still can't access these websites.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem and destroy this virus permanently?

 

Check your hosts file. It probably pu redirects for those sites.
