Hello, recently I have been having an error when I try to start programs on my computer. No matter which program I try to open I receive the error "The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect."
I have searched around and it seems like the solution to my problem is to reinstall the VC++ redist files with vcredist_x86. Unfortunately whenever I try to open the installer to install the needed files, I just receive the same error message. I am unsure how to how to fix this problem when I am unable to install anything on the computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Not really enough specific info to say for sure but I think that you might want to ask a staff member (any staff members looking? ;) ) to move this thread to the malware section so the proper people will see the issue.

From the info provided I can't say for fact but I just think that your system is badly infected.
