The results from VB100’s Comparative Review on Windows 8.1 are in, and Emsisoft Anti-Malware showed yet another solid performance. This test was unique because Virus Bulletin intentionally timed it to coincide with the October’s Windows 8.1 release, yet Emsisoft braved the challenge head on and did quite well, if we say so ourselves.

I must admit I have been testing this for about 3 months now and I am seriously impressed with its performance so far. It is seamless, updates quietly and just does a great job keeping out vermin on the Windows 8.1 pc I am using it on.

I might also add I am seeing a nice boost also from Malwarebytes Pro Lifetime new version as well doing a much more thorough and complete scanning job and also auto handling of "pups" now and doing an all around better job of telling users a new version is ready. I am actually debating which program I will go forward with representing. I have also had a good experience with the Emergency Portable Scanner from Emsisoft, it does a nice job as well removing issues on infected pcs though it is still required to use more than 1 scanner to get everything,

Glad you have been suitably impressed with EAM.
Like you say it just gets on with things very quietly.
I've never had any problems from my version and will definitely be using it again next year.
