upgradeing from usb 2.0 to 3.0 myself. help please!

    hello. i have a "dell optiplex gx520" desktop pc with windows 7 on it. the tower part isnt the kind that stands up longways. its the other kind. most poeople might set their monitor on it. thats the kind it is.

    my questiosn basically is, if i open this to installl the usb 3.0 part how do i know which exact "usb 3.0" hardware part do i buy and is the part thats in there thats usb 2.0 be removeable? i can remove it cant i?
