    Hi Ron,

Open up Thunderbird email and click on the inbox. Under the Tools menu click on Import.
Select Address Book from the new window and click next. From the import window, select
the email client from the list and click next. In the Imported Address book window select
    finish.
Note: If your email client is not listed in the import window, select Textfile (LDIF,.tab, .CSV, .txt)

You're welcome Ron. Let us know if you need any help with importing your address book. It can be a little
tricky, no matter which email client you use. (OR, it can import seamlessly without a hiccup)

    Hi Ron,

    From your Yahoo email account....
To import your contacts from Yahoo, Click on Contacts and select Tools. From the
drop down menu click on export. Next to Yahoo CSV click on Export Now.
You may be asked to type the given code to verify your identity.

Once you have exported the contact list and saved it to documents you will open
Thunderbird and import your newly saved Yahoo address book by selecting the
Textfile (LDIF,.tab, .CSV, .txt) See Post #2 You may have to browse to
documents and select it. I'll give you directions for Live Mail shortly.
See Yahoo export screenshots below... :D

From your Windows Live email account ...

To import your contacts from Live, Click on Contacts and under the
Manage drop down box, select Export. In the new window type the
given code and again select Export. In the file download box you will
select Save. The Libraries > Documents - Folders will be automatically
selected by default. The name will be WLMCContacts in a CSV file
    ext.

Once you have exported the contact list and saved it to documents you will
open Thunderbird and import your newly saved Windows Live address book
by selecting the Textfile (LDIF,.tab, .CSV, .txt)
See screenshots for exporting Live contacts below.
