This is an amazing article with screenshots of all Operating Systems. I actually have used most of them at one time or another. I remember when I went from DOS on a Commodore 64 to to an Apple which had an actual user interface. Then when I got my first Windows box, an IBM 386, I was blown away with Windows 2.0. Back then you kept a computer a long time because it cost an arm and a leg to buy a new one. That first IBM cost me over 2 grand. Times sure have changed. Any way on to the article:

Ha ha, I remember using my Commodore and Spectrum, it used to baffle me how an audio tape was a game
The very first PC I used had Windows 95, then windows 98, then 2000 Millenium Edition, started getting into building and hardware around the XP stage servers around the last 3 years and now Vista, W7...........
Things do move at incredible pace within the PC industry Hardware more than software.
