Hi guys, I think I may have messed with my taskbar and something seems wrong.

So, you know how on your taskbar, with most things you open like "Windows Explorer", the icon will have a light background and it will pull it up. Well, my firefox used to do that, but I think I accidently unpinned it and s*****d something up because now when I click it, it creates the firefox icon at the end of the taskbar. I also notice, like I was on facebook scrolling through statuses, and my firefox seemed like it un-maximized and then back (However it stayed almost the same size.) I dont know, I remember seeing a light blue/grey bar at the top that said "Mozilla Firefox".

Does anyone know what I can do to change it and have it working normal?

This is what your the default taskbar settings should look like.

To pull up the above window, right click on the taskbar and select Properties.

Please post back to tell us if your settings are any different, and/or if these settings cure your problem.

The settings are the same as in the picture. I notice, it works fine with my other programs like MSN, Windows Explorer, even Ventrilo. But not firefox.

Are you running Win 7 64bit, or Win 7 32bit?

To find out...on your keyboard press the flag key plus the pause break key.....Flag + Pause Break

Edit: Once I know this, I'll provide a link.

    64 bit.

I'm not sure if I accidently hit something I didn't mean to.

Ok...what I'd suggest is to uninstall Firefox and then download and install it again. Revo Uninstaller is a good program for uninstalling unwanted programs/software. Download Revo from the link below.

Note: When downloading and installing any program be sure to UNCHECK any boxes that offer Toolbars, etc.

    http://download.cnet.com/Revo-Uninstaller/3000-2096_4-10687648.html

To use Revo Uninstaller, just start the program and you will see a list of icons pertaining to the programs you have installed. Highlight the program you want to uninstall and click Uninstall from the options bar at the top of the window. Follow any instructions given.

Note: You may need to restart your computer. Do not restart until Revo has finished.

Now download and reinstall Firefox...See link below.

Alright, the firefox icon problem is fixed. It's still doing the thing at the top, but it does it very quickly. Maybe I'll record it to further see what happens.
