We have endured the hottest heatwave I can remember.

Last night was the hottest night ever recorded.

    Relief is in sight.

Wow Dougie...I can only imagine what it must be like working in those temperatures. I don't think I've ever experienced anything above 30 myself...:umm:

I think Air Con is essential, as Central heating is here

:snckr: Shame we cant put a big pipe from the UK to Australia as hot air rises and cold air falls we could cool you down while you warm us up :snckr:

Yikes, I'd turn into a melted puddle in no time! Hope some cooling rain comes soon - but then again, not too much as Queensland is still trying to recover from the flooding and then the tornadoes.

Turn that air conditioning up (just ignore the electricity bill :snckr: ) and try not to do anything that requires working outside, Doug!

The Air Con has been running on Max 24/7, Mara.

Those extreme temps day after day does sap one's energy.

Over 200 People in Hospital suffering from Dehydration.

Today is much cooler and expected to reach only 29c.

Such a pleasant relief from the heat. :)

"Only 29c", Doug???? I'd still be turning into a puddle! Anything over 95F and I'm wilting so can't begin to imagine what it must be like in your lovely part of the world - yikes! Drink lots and lots and lots of water, please!
