SunRPC on windows server 2003

  2. Hello Domon,

    On my cluster servers and DC's they don't listen on sunrpc. Did you use anything
    from sun in your network? Do you have any problems?

    Hi Meinolf

    Thanks for the reply. I think could be due to the reason that we are
    running sun servers and installed Qlogic driver for our fibre cards.
    Actually, our company just run a security scan on our servers. The
    reports pointed that our cluster servers have this issue on RPC unset
    prodecure. Our security told us that we should restrict unathorized
    access to this port (111). which is used by sunRPC. Thus, I need to
    confrim the the functionality of our servers is not affected if we does
    restrict access. We have thought of using ipsec for this.
