Not sure if this is the right group to post.

I have a strange situation on a network share folder. On the root there are
folders with strange identifier strings, i.e.
{35D2C8B8-20D2-4017-974F-8B6188C53F29}. The owner of the folder is a user
that is logged on to an XP machine that has a drive mapped to the shared
folder. The files underneath the folder are pdf files that the user works
on. It's as if Windows is backing up the files to the network drive under
these folders. Maybe before the workstation goes to sleep or hibernates.

Does anyone know what this is?

    Thanks in advance.
