    Hey Guys

Iv had my computer for about 5 years now and have never had a probleb until now. I had a wireless keyboard that stopped working so i went and bought a new one and all was well for a few days and then the new wireless keyboard starting playing up aswell, sometimes working sometimes not.

Anyway i got fed up with this and rocked my main computer box and then turned it off to see if a reboot would get my keyboard working. It didnt and now when i load up it gets to the starting windows and logo and now freezes. I have windows 7 by the way and have tried the startup repair already after i bought a new wired keyboard that works now.

Anyway does anyone have any ideas on the next thing to try ? will i download windows 7 online burn it to a dvd disc and try to install it again or what ?

    Any advice would be great.

    Cheers and Happy New Year

    Chris

Hi Chris.Welcome to Computer Help Forums.
My guess it's a recently installed software program.
Try a system restore point prior to when these issues started.

Have you checked inside the case that all of the connections are good ?

Do you get any POST beeps when it is trying to boot up?
If so - how many and what sequence ? ( example 1 long; 2 short )
