Social Downloadr

    Whatever engine I use to perform a search, throws me to something called socialdownloadr(dot)com. The actual results never come up, and it never loads beyond the terribly rendered socialdownloadr logo.

    I've tried all the advice I can find to get rid of it; Add-ons, Add and Remove, Malwarebytes, CCCleaner, Glary Utilities, Hitman Pro... none of which find any reference to it.

    I've tried the obvious, such as setting the home page and defualt engine, etc, all to no avail.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hi Albert. You have a browser Hi Jacker. Download "ADW Cleaner" free and run a scan. Then run cleaner and reboot.

    If you can't download with affected computer, download to a Flash Drive with another computer and install and run from your desktop that way.
