So recently i was able to make skyrim run at a desireable FPS by using this mod and lowering resolution to the 800X450 mode.

However, i remember there was a way to trick grand theft auto 4 into using lower resolution but looking like a higher resolution is in use.

Is there any possible way to do this with SBW.Exe by using a commandline prompt or a Custom made .BAT launcher?

This would eliminate the need to downscale my computer's resolution to the lowest so i can see skyrim properly in its 800X450 mode.

    not...quite..what i meant..

In GTA IV, there's a fix by creating a Commandline.txt file that forces the game to stay at a particular resolution while setting the in-game resolution to it's lowest, so that it runs nice, but still looks good.

I was wondering how i could do this to SBW.EXE (skyrim boarderless window mod) so that i could keep the 800X450 scale for the in-game ratio of resolution,

but have it doing a forced resolution of 1200X700, or something around that.

the Custom.BAT files that are optional files that come with the game, but it does not force the game window itself to grow to its optimal area, only the black borderlining around it.

No more problems with this, i've found that downscaling my resolution as a whole brings up the skyrim resolution.

if i can make the process from the scaledown from 1366X768 to 800X600 by some commandline editing though, i guess that would make things ALOT easier.

Im a bit rusty with -Commands, anyone know the commands for a .BAT file to scale down resolution from 1366X768 when program X launches, and to scale from 800X600 back up to the original after Program X has been closed?
