Just to try help a bit, I've read through the thread but haven't been able to take absolutely everything in so do ignore a suggestion if you have checked already.

Have you tried changing your RAM around? Maybe taking the other two out and using your spare RAM stick to check for errors with that.

You mention that you flashed the VBIOS to take control of the GPU fan, did you happen to check the voltage being provided to that card? The default voltage for that card should be about 1.05v, if it's any lower than that you should increase it to 1.05v, as I would have thought low voltages could cause graphical artifacts.

I'm assuming both monitors are ok? As both are showing the graphcal artifacts, so I would doubt both monitors would go.

Have you also tried moving your graphics card to another PCI-E slot if possible? It could be as simple as a faulty PCI-E slot if so you should RMA your motherboard.

If all else fails then I would have thought that as unlikely as it seems the graphics card must be failing.

Ram has all been tested individually

    Voltages are all good

    It happens on both monitors

I keep getting driver crashing issues while playing games. I have reinstalled the latest drivers but it still shows I'm running AMD Catalyst 11.4 even though I downloaded and installed 12.4 after uninstalling everything ATI/AMD completely..
Crysis worked great when maxed out, but Battlefield 3 crashed, Star Wars Battlefront 2 crashed all with the same error. If I alt+tab out of the game quick enough I can close it without it locking up the computer, and I see the driver crash error in the bottom right corner.

The black screen with the artifacts is my second monitor when playing BF3, the game plays fine but it's those artifacts that don't sit right with me. It also tells me to install the latest drivers for my video card which I have done many, many times

As a start and it will be a bit of a pain, but try uninstalling your graphics driver with driver sweeper - http://phyxion.net/Driver-Sweeper/Driver-Sweeper/

Restart the PC and ensure the ATI/AMD folders are deleted in Program Files and Program Files (x86) (if you have 64bit Windows 7). You can delete the folders yourself and empty them from the recycle bin if you need to.

Then try installing the drivers again, hopefully that should give you the 12.4 version of the drivers.

Also did you try moving the graphics card to another PCI-E slot?

So far so good with the driver sweeper, and I did try moving the video card to only to realize that it blocks all my SATA ports haha...so far so good...
It's strange how I can max out crysis with no issue (other than the sky flickering, but I heard that happens with alot of people) and Battlefield 3...but not star wars battlefront 2 haha
