You are going to lose lots and lots of speed using an adapter cable like that, I would use a SATA PCI controller card like this
    http://www.google.co.uk/products?q=pci+express+sata+controller&hl=en&lnk=qsugb&ei=7-K6S6CgI4my-QbzgfmJBw&sa=X&ved=0CGgQhggoAw

Most of them are 4 ports too so you have space for future upgrades, I use them in older systems that do not have the support for SATA

The disk boot failure error is when your system is trying to boot an HDD with no Operating system on it.
Within most BIOS settings there is an option for 1st,2nd,3rd boot device, you need to check that the one in first is HDD and that if there is a list for which HDD it boots from that its set at the one that contains the OS.

SO you have the Molex to SATA connector installed, and next to that on the drive side there is an 'L' shape DATA connection which needs a SATA connector connecting to you IDE converter, the IDE converter then need to be plugged into an IDE channel on your Motherboard

Not working i dunno why, I have all the cables, maybe the MOBO is to old, but I also try to add that SATA HDD on my Dell Dimension 4300s it did not work either, is there any enlightenment on that

When adding SATA drives to PCs/Mobos that do support SATA, you need to go into disk management and format the drive for it to be 'seen' by windows.
Go to Control panel>administrative tools> computer management>then disk management on the left hand side.

You will see a blue C:/ drive and then a black drive, if you only have these 2 HDDs then the black one you need to right click on and format

With your older MOBO, the only feasible way that you are going to get the SATA drive to work is with a PCI controller card as I have mentioned in my last post, cables that add 'compatibility' in my personal opinion are a waste of time.
