    Hello,
I'm getting a Runtime Error! Program: c:\windows\system32\spoolsv.exe on my
print server. This just started occurring after installing some Windows
update. I'm also running Systems Essential 2007 on this server. When it
occurs we cannot print and the printers are no longer available until I
restart the print spooler service and then it hangs the server. What's the
best way to fix this issue?

    Thanks,
    Manny

I suspect malware or a virus.

The problem started after some failed Windows update.

    Thanks,

Many malware/virus problems start after a Windows update. The malware
modifies the system so that it still works but behaves in a different way.
When the update is applied, the malware corruption causes as serious
    problem.
