roaming user profiles logged in more than once

Discussion in 'Windows Home Server' started by Synapse Syndrome [KGB], May 17, 2009.

  1. Are there any possible problems with roaming user profiles being logged into
several machines at the same time?

    Cheers

Potentially - if there are conflicting changes made to any files which are
part of the roaming profile. Refer to
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc961679.aspx for more info...

  3. Hello,

the problem will occur only at logoff. If both profiles modified the
same file (like the user registry), the last who logoff will win.

Windows make a fusion based on modification date of files.
