The internet in my house is in perfect working order on all computers except
mine.Avira free antivirus found malware and quarantined it then deleted
it.Now my computer will not connect to the internet only erroring even after
I remove the cable and reconnect.I used a program called combo fix to try and
remove any stray malware in the computer.I still have no internet connection
so can I get any help?

    Ahhh, no.

The OP did say "Avira free antivirus found malware and quarantined it then deleted
it.Now my computer will not connect to the internet..."

Which is indicative of removing a Layered service Provider in the Windows Sockets.
    Effectively breaking the TCP/IP stack.

You may want to try the "Malicious Software Removal Tool" from
Microsoft, if you are running XP or such.
We might learn something if you had a look into Aviras report file
and told us, what it barked at.

    Regards,
    H.

The report mentions a code gen, I had to go into quarantine to delet it.Also
the instructions about running the ip config seemed to make the limited or no
connectivity...until it was finished then it went back to normal.

In that case, it sounds like Avira didn't delete anything important. Please
    try the following:

    - Click start -> run.

    - If using xp paste: "secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\repair\secsetup.inf
    /db secsetup.sdb /verbose" (without quotes) *hit enter*

    - If using vista paste: "secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\inf\defltbase.inf
    /db defltbase.sdb /verbose" (without quotes) *hit enter*

[*] This will restore your security settings to default i.e. There are times
when a virus has been removed, but has left restrictions on your pc. This
will lift 'most' of those restrictions.

Actually "viruses" don't tend to change security settings. This is mostly the realm of
Trojans in the form of RootKits, adware and spyware.

Your solution however is interesting for those cases.

If you KNOW of a virus that actually does alter the security settings where such a
solution has been fruitful, please provide information on that virus.

Dave, I see what you mean, but you are taking what I said too literally.
please acquire more knowledge on what a virus is before telling others what
you think they don't know. Also, please stick to the topic...Thanks.

I fully understand what a "virus" is.

Therefore if you meant to say...

[*] This will restore your security settings to default i.e. There are times
when mlware has been removed, but has left restrictions on your pc. This
will lift 'most' of those restrictions.

Then use the word malware and not virus.
All viruses are malware but not all malware are viruses.
