Remote administer Windows Server 2008 from Windows XP

    Is it possible to install the new Windows Server 2008 Remote Server
    Administration Tools on a Windows XP machine in order to remotely administer
    the 2008 server from an XP machine?

    Hello Candace,

    No, RSAT does run on Vista or 2008. To administer a 2008 domain and have
    the option to configure all policies use Vista or server 2008.
