Hey guys. My gf has a compaq presario CQ62 laptop. I reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit the other day. Now the wireless isnt working. She does have a f key that turns wireless on and off. Even with the wireless button turned on, it still wont connect. I went into the manage wireless settings, and it says the wireless isnt enabled. And there is no "enable" button. I actually tired to reintall win7 again to see if it fixed it, but same thing.

Also, the wireless was working 100% fine before reinstalling win7. The internet does work with an ethernet cable attacted.

What do I need to do,
    Thanks

    Try this.
Open start menu, settings, network settings and open. Click on the icon for wireless and enable it, then the wireless should work.
You should see a box to enable or disable.

I would suggest that you make certain that you have installed all your updates and that should fix the problem. Bet you never would have guessed that If I didn't tell you. :angl:
