I built my first computer about a year ago. After 7 months it started randomly freezing, forcing me to hard reboot. I have updated my drivers for my cpu and gpu with no results. I have not updated my bios. I have run memtest and checked the system log with no problems except the kernel shutdown error shown. I would appreciate any help to troubleshoot and fix this issue.

What version of windows did you install when you built it and where did you get it? This is important in the event a repair install is called for.

Further to BeeCeeBee's Post. Most OS Disc copies don't have the repair function.

I had problems with random freezing some time ago. I was advised to disable all add ons. This solved the problem. I then started them one by one and found that the culprit was Rapport, suggested by the bank. I contacted them and they agreed that there had been problems, and have since claimed to have corrected things. I have so far been reluctant to try it again. Maybe one of your add ons is causing the problem.
