Problems With MalwareBytes Version 3

    After downloading MB Premium version 3, i encountered the following problems.
    1. Computer would not shut down unless i manually depress the on/off tower switch.
    2. Internet explorer browser would not appear on my monitor. Waterfox browser, no problem.

    I then disabled MB version 3 & all of the above problems were resolved. I was going to try Add/Remove MB & then the MB cleanup download but hesitate to do so. Any assistance would be appreciated.

    There's no issue with running the uninstaller and then running the MBAM Clean.
    The reason for running the MBAM Clean program is that when the uninstaller is run, sometimes the 'Program Data >> MalwareBytes' folder is left behind..... the clean program will remove this.

    There is a forum over at MalwareBytes dedicated to Malwarebytes 3.0
    It's a good source of info regarding Faq, conflicts, known issues etc.
    There are still issues with v3 and Win7 when MSSE is installed causing problems with shut down.
    Sometimes deactivating the ransomware protection can cure these problems.

    I decided that since the new version of MalwareBytes is in beta form I will wait till all the bugs are worked out. I downloaded the previous version.
