    If you are tapping F10 to enter the Vaio Care Recovery, you need to select Recovery and Restore.
    In the next window select Recovery and in the Recovery window, select Recover Computer.

    No, but it is similar. It has options to reformat C drive, The computer. It says it will keep the preinstalled programs on the computer, and restore it to factory settings, except something goes wrong halfway.

    PROBLEM SOLVED.

    Thanks guys, when I was reformatting there was a command prompt that went away if I was away from my computer so I watched it reformat for the last few % and I just followed the prompts and it worked
